So I blogged about this awhile back but I regularly get graze.com boxes ... well that's a lie ... I did but I stopped them for a while as I was trying to save some pennies as my car insurance is due and I've got Christmas presents to buy.
But I got an email last week saying I could try one of their Jerky Boxes for the special price of £3.99 and you know me ... gotta try something new and I thought I could do a quick blog about it.
So I came home from work on Friday to find this waiting for me ...
Now I got two types of jerky with my box and I got two of each to make up my four snacks.
> 2 x British Peppered Pork Jerky with Apply & Pear Chutney
> 2 x British Applewood Smoked Beef Jerky with Slow-Cooked Tomato Relish
I've linked up the names to Graze's page for each snack so you can check them out for more detail as I won't go on and on ... as I could ... you know me ...
Notes:
British Peppered Pork Jerky with Apply & Pear Chutney
- very peppery (duhhhh did you see the name)
- catches the back of my throat
- bit fatty (but it is pork)
- softer than the beef (in terms of chewyness)
- chutney is sweet and tangy (reminds me of my grandmothers when I was younger)
British Applewood Smoked Beef Jerky with Slow-Cooked Tomato Relish
- very chewy and tough
- even though it was chewy I think this makes last longer lol
- less fat than the pork (big plus for me as I do hate fat with a passion)
- really love this tomato relish (big fan)
- I would have maybe paired the beef with a wholegrain mustard relish though (tomato still works)
Overall both really nice products and I would order them again. I gave them a 'try again' on the Graze website. (for those of you not familiar with Graze - you can rate the snacks)
Same as before - you can use my code:
JOHNA6FVB
You get your 1st, 5th and 10th box free - there is no commitment and you can cancel at anytime.
It really is a great idea - you can choose items you like, hate, never want, want more than others ...
You can choose when you want it ... ie once a week, 2 a week ... you can gift people boxes aswell, sent to alternative addresses. You can order a one off box (so maybe you get a breakfast box once a week, but you fancy a one off snack box - you can do that)
If you do use my code - I get £1 off my next box or I can choose to donate to the graze school of farming.
Anyway even if you don't want to order anything - check out their website it's pretty amazing! (I'm using that word alot I've noticed lol)
You can check the website out here.

Catch you laters!
