LUSH Mask of Magnaminty Review

Hey everyone :)

So got another post for you this week on something I got from Lush before I went to Spain - which was some time ago but I wanted time to try the product before putting a review up.

Now I love a good face mask - who doesn't?! Over the past couple of years ... more so the last year since I started blogging - I've used lots of different ones ... some nice and some not so nice - I do have sensitive skin though ...

This is LUSH's Mask of Magnaminty (excuse the shabby-ness of the tub - it's been used :D)

The active ingredients include:

peppermint oil - to stimulate
marigold oil & chlorophyllin - to treat the skin
evening primrose seeds & aduki beans - to gently exfoliate the skin
honey - moisturising and antiseptic

As you can see with the pictures above and below the mask is a green colour which touches on the name 'mask of magnaminty' - the main smell of the mask is mint/peppermint and it's very refreshing. If I had to compare it to anything - it would be smothering my face in toothpaste.

The mask is not just a face mask and can be used anywhere on the body. But I've kept to my face with this one as I don't feel any other part of my body needs a mask on it. I prefer to apply in the shower or bath as it's quite messy and then its easier to wash off in my opinion.

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of me using the mask - as I mentioned above I'm normally in the shower when I apply it and I didn't think a 'naked-john' was appropriate for my blog.

Overall I enjoyed using the product and I would purchase it again - only thing I would say is that the mint smell is very poweful so if your not a fan of mint - steer away from the product and try something different.

Let me know what you think of the product if you've used it before or are planning on buying it in the comments below.
