What I'm Watching?!

Hey everyone :)

It's that time of year again where the Summer break is over and all my television programmes are starting again ...

I thought I'd just do a quick run through of my favorites and let you go watch them because they are AMAZING!

Once Upon A Time
I started watching this on Netflix when the first two seasons were released and I watched the first few episodes and couldn't get into it ... I then decided to give it another shot and I couldn't stop watching it ... It's so enjoyable because they've taken the old fairy tales and given them a twist and more story to them ... but set in a modern day world. We're now on Season 5 and it might seem like a mission to watch the last four seasons to catch up but I can tell you - it's worth it!

Family Guy
We're now on Season 14 of Family Guy and I still find it as enjoyable as the first season. I hope it becomes like 'The Simpsons' and lasts for years! Would recommend it to anyone who has a sick sense of humour or likes laughing at not-really-funny jokes! Also the dog talks and the baby tries to kill his own mother constantly.

The Big Bang Theory
I remember watching the first season of this show - I mainly started watching because Penny also played Billie in 'Charmed' and I thought it would be good if she was in it. It's very funny and with the introduction of new characters - old and new - makes it more fun.

Grey's Anatomy
I can't express how much I love this show - it's been one of the best shows I've ever watched in my life. I reminds me of ER which was also a great show! I can't count how many times I've cried or laughed while watching this programme. There is so much going on and you can't help but root for the characters - I've been watching it for about 12 years (I think - there are 12 seasons anyway) and I can't help feel attached to the characters!

The Vampire Diaries
The Vampire Diaries came out about the same time as True Blood and I couldn't decide which to watch - but I chose this one and I'm glad I did - as I think True Blood has finished now or was cancelled. The story followed two brothers and a girl. Five seasons later and we're going on still ... I don't want to spoil it in case you haven't watched it so I won't say anything about anything. But watch it (or catch up).

The Originals
This was the spin-off of 'The Vampire Diaries' and (don't hate me) but I prefer more now. It follows the Mikaelson siblings as they go back to New Orleans and try to fit back in after being away for so long. We're just about to go into Season 3 so plenty of time to catch up on the last two seasons although I do recommend you watch 'The Vampire Diaries' first as 'The Originals' will make more sense.

How To Get Away With Murder
This was a new show I started watching last year when it first came out (or maybe it was before the break and this year it started) I can't remember! My memory is terrible at the moment! Anyway ... it's about a lawyer and her class and she calls the class 'How To Get Away With Murder' as she is a defense lawyer and her class is one of the most coveted classes in the US basically so if you get accepted then your the best of the best. I won't go into too much detail as don't want to ruin it. The second season has just started and it's more interesting than ever!

Doctor Who
Doctor Who has just started in the UK and I'm getting back into watching it - we have another Scottish doctor and we still have Clare (the impossible girl). This season looks good however the first two episodes were a two-parter (and I hate cliffhangers) and then the third episode was a two-parter - so I am impatiently waiting for Saturday so I can watch it.

Downton Abbey
I love programmes set in the past and this is a very authentic show.  I think they only planned for 5 seasons, but they managed to convice the writer to do another season. So this is the last season. The characters are all funny and it's amazing to see what it was like all that time ago. My favourite character has to be Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter).

That's all the shows I'm watching so far ... They only started last week but I am already behind as I'm doing crazy hours at work at the moment.

Let me know if you watch any or are thinking about watching something new ...
