December Favourites

Hey everyone :)

Hope you all had a great Christmas and a good New Year! I had a good Christmas and chilled out and relaxed on my own watching Netflix and stuffing my face on Christmas Day. I got lots of Christmas presents from Dave despite us 'agreeing' that we wouldn't get each other any! Grrrrrr! New Year saw us dog-sitting/house-sitting Dave's aunt's two dogs - Bernie and Nora. We stayed at their massive house out in the countryside where there is no phone signal and really slow broadband - but anyway I got to spend it with the one I love and they do say that New Year is the second most romantic holiday to spend with your significant other.

Asides from that everything else is going good. Work is slowing going back to normal as the Christmas period and New Year period play havoc with our ordering system but I won't go into that. Dave and myself are starting to look for a place to rent ... however we both hate each others choices when it comes to looking ... it could take sometime to decide. I've also decided to start weekly vlogging again ... not sure if it will be every week but I just pick up the camera and vlog certain things and then I'll mesh it together into one longer vlog ... much easier than daily vlogging at the moment.

Anyway on with this post ... I wanted to finish December (and last year) on a high so a favourites post/video seemed appropriate ... I have actually posted the video so if you prefer me chatting crap for 10 minutes go watch that and don't bother reading this ... or read this and don't watch the video ... it's up to you ... I like to cater for both audiences ...

ASDA Oranges/Clementines
I found these in Asda and fell in love with them. They are so sweet and yummy. They also come in a little 'wicker' not sure basket and they come with stalks and leaves on so you could get away with telling people you picked them yourself. There only £2 - and the go down a treat when I take them into the office.

Warburton's Five Seeds Seeded Batch Loaf
I fell in love with this bread years ago ... I first tried it when I was at my Nanas and couldn't get enough. It's great with just butter, nothing else as I'm a plain Jane. It's full of seeds and is wholemeal too ... so lots of fibre.

PG Tips English Breakfast Tea
I picked these up in Asda as I'm a big fan of the Starbucks English Breakfast Tea and I wanted something similar to drink when I was at home. I found these and I love them. They taste just as good as Starbucks and I can't fault them in anyway.

Seabrook Lattice Sea Salt & Red Whine Vinegar Crisps
I bought these when they first came out and thought they were amazing! I am a sucker for any salt and vinegar crips that melts the skin of my tongue ... I love the salt and vinegar taste - I mean a really strong taste and these are 10/10 for that.

Burton's Fish 'n' Chips - Curry Sauce
I first tried the Salt 'n' Vinegar flavour of these and they blew my socks off - similar to the Seabrook crisps above they are coated in yummy salt and vinegar flavouring ... it's making my mouth water just thinking about them. These are the curry version and again they are coated in a yummy curry flavour and taste amazing!

Aussie Miracle Shine Shampoo and Conditioner
I think I saw another blogger using this and they said it was amazing - so of course I headed straight out to the shops and bought it and I've used it since. My hair looks really good and doesn't look dull anymore. Only thing I would say is that its quite expensive so I always try and buy it when its on sale or special.

Emporio Armani Diamonds (for men)
I remember smelling this on someone a few years ago and I asked them what it was and bought it a couple of days later. I've used it since then but sometimes I alternate with D&G The One (for men) depending on my mood. It's a very citrus smell which makes sense seeing as the top note is bergamot. It also boasts amber, cedar wood and cacao. Dave got me some more for my birthday so I'm all topped up for this year.

Paco Rabanne 'Invictus'
A few people had been wearing this at work and I just had to get my hands on it. I contemplated giving it to Dave so I could smell it on him but he doesn't often wear aftershave so it would be a waste. I might alternate between the other two and this one. This boasts notes of grapfruit, the sea and oranges.

Seven Seas Complete Multivitamins (adult)
I'm quite ill at the moment so I decided to dose myself with vitamin tablets, lemsip and orange juice - I go through phases of using vitamin tablets then I forget to take them and they end up sitting in my bag and doing nothing. These are my go-to ones though. The tablet is quite big but that doesn't bother me.

Brothers & Sisters 'The Complete Collection'
This show used to be on terrestrial television years ago and after the first season or maybe second season it moved to Sky and at the time my parents didn't have Sky ... so we stopped watching it ... over the years I kept trying to find it but the boxset was too expensive. I managed to pick this one up in the Black Friday sales for £19.99 (down from £39.99) so was pleased with that. I am nearly through season one and really excited as it was a good programme.

That's everything for this month. That is 2016 (on my blog anyway) officially over. Let me know in the comments if you had any favourites this month (or last).
