Dear John,
Where to begin? What do I write? Is this supposed to be deep or funny?
I suppose I should start by saying - I hope your happy and healthy - that's a normal thing to ask right?
I hope that your eating better now that your older and wiser. This crisps and ready-meals nonsense has to stop - it's not healthy and probably isn't doing any good for you.
I hope you are financially better off and are in a job that you enjoy. Whether its the job I'm in at the moment or whether you've moved on from there now.
Have you managed to get a house or a mortgage?
I can't really think of much else to ask you or hope that you've achieved?
I'll leave it there ... this is probably a terrible letter ...
Regards
