I was about to start this post with the words 'So I rarely blog about music ...' I then slapped myself and deleted those words ...
Normally I do a playlist once a month ... and if I'm honest I love making my own playlists because its rare I find an album where I love every song! However that's now changed ...
As you can probably guess by the posts name: Taylor Swift's 1989 album has just came out - actually it's been out a month or so now and the songs are amazing!
I can't link it via Spotify at the moment as all of her songs have been taken down - I won't go into detail - just Google it ... it was all over the internet a few weeks ago :(
Luckily I bought the album from iTunes so I have the artwork. There are two editions to her albums - you have the 'normal/basic' edition which has 13 songs and then the deluxe edition which has 3 additional songs and 3 voice memos. I got the deluxe edition. #excited
Playlist is as follows:
1. Welcome to New York
2. Blank Space
4. Out of the Woods
5. All You Had to Do Was Stay
6. Shake It Off
7. I Wish You Would
8. Bad Blood
9. Wildest Dreams
10. How You Get the Girl
11. This Love
12. I Know Places
Deluxe Edition (additional)
15. You Are in Love
16. New Romatics
17. I Know Places (voice memo)
18. I Wish You Would (voice memo)
19. Blank Space (voice memo)
She has already released 'Shake It Off' and 'Blank Space' as singles which are amazing! The videos are so good and the ideas behind them are amazing!
She also has released 'Out of the Woods' and 'Welcome to New York' as countdown singles before the album was released on 27th October. There are no videos for these ones ... yet.
I really do enjoy all the songs on the album my favourites currently are 'Wonderland' I think because I am really into Once Upon a Time and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland that's why! I really like 'All You Had to Do Was Stay' as well! It's really catchy and the way she shouts 'Stay' in the song is fun too!
I'm hoping to go see her on tour when she comes to the UK - the tickets are on sale already and it'll be hosted in Hyde Park in London for the British Summer Time festival or something < I need to read into it more.
Let me know if you guys are loving her album and if you have any favourite songs?!
